*Iles Les Saintes"
First it's a short hop to our favourite destination in this corner of the Caribbean - the Saintes. This has got to be one of the most charming little harbours in the Caribbean with french flavour. Bakeries with french pastries, and a number of nice restaurants to choose from along the walkable main waterfront!

Lush Dominica

From the Saintes we will sail to the green and lush island of Dominica. Its well worth spending a day here to explore the rainforest and historical spots on the island.

French Martinique

This leg offers the opportunity to make an overnight passage. We will leave around sunset to sail overnight dividing the passage up into night watches. Its open ocean as we cross between Dominica and the northern tip of Martinique. With proper Caribbean winds 12-20 knots from the east we experience a Caribbean landfall at dawn as we approach our destination of Martinique.

St Anne

The south-eastern corner of Martinique has the finest cruising anchorages on the island at the bustling bay of Le Marin and, just outside at the charming village of Sainte Anne (see below).

Building Skills and Additional Activities

Note we will make an overnight passage on this trip so we call this an intermediate leg. As usual, we encourage our guests to participate as much or as little as they'd like with the operation and sailing of the boat.

We will help anyone wanting to build their skills sailing, anchoring, cruise planning, navigation, weather forecasting picking up a mooring and docking during the voyage.

On this trip we will also be offering training in the use of a sextant.

If you have any questions you can check our FAQ here or please contact us - Or call our office in Toronto, Canada, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time and we can describe the passages further. We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
