We start in the pretty island of St Lucia. From here we head south passing the dramatic Pitons. The winds in January come from the E-NE typically 15-20 knots giving us perfect conditions to head south down the islands. We continue south to the Grenadines to check in at Bequia. The Grenadines are a series of small and beautiful islands all a few miles apart making for a fabulous cruising ground. We have visited this area numerous times during our 35 years of cruising so look forward to returning in 2026 and planning out the detailed itinerary for this trip.

Altogether we will sail roughly 175 miles in this 12 day adventure. This will give time to stop and "smell the frangipani" in this pretty corner of the Caribbean. Last stop in the Grenadines is Union Island where we can clear out customs. It's just 5 miles to Carriacou - sister island to Grenada. Here we will clear in customs and explore the friendly small settlement at Tyrell Bay.
