2025 La Coruna Spain to Cascais Portugal

Last year we were very impressed with the Spanish city of La Coruna and wanted to return. This time we can take a bit more time passing the dramatic coast around Cape Finisterre. We will stop in to Vigo before heading on south down the Portuguese coast and a city we have long wanted to visit at Porto. By the time we reach charming Cascais (nearby Lisbon) you already notice the weather is warmer and we feel we've escaped winter.

La Corona is a magnificent downtown waterfront where we can tie up Distant Shores IV. Perfect spot to wait a day or so for weather to round Cape Finisterre..
We will likely see dolphins on this route.
If its a little chillier we can warm up in the pilothouse.
