This is a very rare chance to experience the best of the remote Bahamas all in one cruise. We clear customs out of Turks and Caicos at Provo and then anchor off in the shallow crystal water. Then we can depart early for the offshore run to the Bahamas - 50 miles to the remote island of Mayaguana (marked ('3'). Now we have a few amazing and seldom visited remote Bahamas outposts to choose from as we work our way North West.
We'll likely spend the night at the uninhabited Plana Cays ("4"). The watercolour here is unbelievable and all the times we have anchored here we've had the island to ourselves. Next we sail to the idyllic Ackllins Island at Atwood harbour("6"). We have filmed this anchorage before with its perfect beach.
From Attwood we can visit Conception Island, Long Island ("7") and more as we sail on west toward the Exuma Islands at George Town - a lovely spacious harbour that is the heart of cruising in the Bahamas. If you have enjoyed our Bahamas videos over the years, much of the footage was shot in the Exumas and these out-islands.
